There is no particular date on which the school uniform changes and the children can dress according to the weather and their own comfort.
The children of junior school are allowed to wear home clothes on their birthdays. However, if they are going on a field trip, it is suggested that they come in the school uniform and may wear their home clothes on another day. They can carry two simple sweets for their friends and teachers. Senior school children have to come in uniform on their birthdays. No elaborate birthday celebrations, such as carrying cake to be cut in class or expensive gifts, are encouraged on campus.
Yes, school campus has buses, which ply in both Gurugram and its nearby areas. There are enough buses in the school which provide reliable and comfortable transportation.
Yes, teachers accompany the children on the buses and also maintain the discipline in the buses.
The school has trained housekeeping staff under an effective supervisor. Frequent inspection by the administrator and the supervisor to ensure a clean environment. Support staff is regularly trained in hygiene. The campus have RO systems with water coolers to provide safe and clean drinking water. The quality of the water supply is monitored carefully throughout the year.
All the classes are monitored by teachers at all times. During the break or any such time, teachers monitor the campus as per the duty register. All unbecoming disciplinary issues are addressed and an environment of integrity is encouraged. Students are expected to follow school rules and conduct themselves appropriately. There is round the clock guarding of the campus. Identity cards are issued to students and staff and are to be carried at all times. Teachers are on buses in the morning and in the afternoon. In case of a field trip, outstation trip or an event outside the campus, children are accompanied by teachers.
Co-curricular activities, designed to be learning, leadership and fun opportunities, form a part of the calendar during and after school hours throughout the year. They encompass performing arts, fine arts, literary and creative writing pursuits, sports, environment, science, heritage, interacting with achievers and role models. In senior school they could be intra-school, inter-school, regional, state or national.After school activities are offered to children of class 1 and onwards. These include sports coaching, drama and theatre, photography, art and craft, etc

The Head of Sports and the Secretaries of Sports are key posts in the Student Council.

With the exception of admission to Nursery, admission to Rockford Convent School is based upon vacancy in the class to which admission is sought.
We give preference to siblings of students already in the school. In such a case, siblings automatically move to the top of their respective category in the waiting list.
The applicant has to send the resume / CV and if there is a vacancy, is called for an interaction with the principal. This is followed by three demo classes and the filling in of the Personal Data Form. Based on these, an assessment is made of the applicant’s subject expertise, ability to communicate that knowledge given in the class dynamics and the qualities exhibited that are valued in a Rockford Convent Sr. Sec.
